I don't think I ever was in a rain storm like what that concert was played in. They bumped the start time of the show up, and by the time they finished Deny it just came down in buckets. This would be the night that tornadoes ripped through Michigan and Ontario.

I felt old that night being at this but what made it worse was my kids did not want to make their way to the front of the stage. Sorry but on the hill is not for me. When you are a bad dancer you want to be in a crowd and the huge crowd was down below.

Dave Brock played Jim Morrison in the 1992 Movie Death Becomes Her. Interesting to learn he's an actual impersonator. I figured he was just some random actor who landed a small role in that movie.

First ever live show I saw was Kim Mitchell at the Calgary Stampede on the Coca Cola stage, back in 1995. Hugely underrated Canadian rocker. I think the bass player was the same guy he had with him back then, too. Sure sounds like him.
